Class info and basics:
Chef Karen’s Private Cooking Classes are designed with you in mind! Classes are 1 ½ hours – 2 hours long. Shorter classes are an option too – whatever works best for you. Each subsequent class ideally builds on itself. We will work together to decide the class menu at least a week before each class.
I cook many types of cuisines and teach a variety of techniques. These are my favorites:
- Cooking Classes: Cooking fundamentals & basics.
- Cuisine Classes: Italian, Mediterranean, American, Thai, Spanish, French.
Important to know:
- Each class is $75.00 per hour. Food is additional.
- For example, a 2-hour class would be $150.00 plus the cost of food.
- Classes are held in your kitchen or in your community space’s kitchen.
- For a successful class we ask students provide:
- Stove, oven, pots, pans, measuring cups, spoons, cutting boards, thermometer, your own knives (I will bring my own knives for instruction purposes).
What I bring to the table:
- Over 30 years of culinary expertise and experience. A love and joy of teaching people how to cook.
- I will provide the recipes, and any specialty equipment needed.
- I arrive 15-20 minutes before class to prepare and set up.
- Food safety and cleanliness are emphasized.
